Randgold Resources (LSE: RRS) is an Jersey-based gold mining business operating mainly in Mali. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ stock exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
The Randgold Resources organization was started in 1995, first listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1997. In 2000 it commissioned the Morila mine and in 2005 went on to commission the Loulo mine

Sitakili is a small parish in the Kayes Region of Mali , in the Cercle of Kéniéba. Sitakiliis the capital city of its commune.
On November 12, 2005, a new gold mine opened in the commune of Sitakili in the village of Loulo. The mine’s production is projected to be 7,000 tons per year, making it one of the largest on the African continent.
